Products and prices

RTFC is available in 4 software editions plus user licenses for the Professional Edition. For a brief description of these editions, please refer to the section "Product overview and features".

General information

All prices mentioned are recommended net sales prices
In the case of upgrades to another software edition, we will credit the previous purchase price.
Half prices apply for updates of version 9.
For updates of older versions, the full price applies.
Updates as part of the product maintenance of version 10 are free of charge.
RTFC's program packages do not contain SAPI voices. You can use the SAPI voices from Windows. Other voices can be purchased from third-party providers for converting documents to audio books.
RTFC can be purchased from one of our dealers and OEM partners. Please do not contact us directly if you need a cost estimate for submission to a health insurance company. Also, if you want to purchase RTFC together with a Braille printer or a daisy player, please contact one of our sales partners.

If several users work with the software, a personal license is required for each user. This applies regardless of whether the use takes place on a single-user PC with several user accounts, a client PC in the network or a terminal server.

A campus or district license cannot be transferred or shared with other licensees.

Hints:

You will receive a personal license key that identifies you or your institution as a registered user. To generate the license key, we need your full name, zip code and city. You can download and install the program package from the Internet immediately after receiving the license data.

Updates within a major version are free of charge and are also made available on the Internet.

The Braille converter is also available as an OEM version by vendors of Braille printers. This is a version specially adapted to the hardware of the respective provider. Dealer inquiries welcome!

The Daisy Generator is also available as an OEM version by vendors for daisy players. This is a version specially adapted to the hardware of the respective provider. Dealer inquiries welcome!

Please note that we generally do not offer support for Braille printers, daisy players and specially adapted OEM versions. Our dealers and OEM partners are at your disposal for this purpose. This can result in different additional costs depending on the provider.
