• The Braille converter allows you to convert your documents to Braille: choose between several grades of contraction as well as computer Braille
  
• Numerous options for conversion and formatting allow customization to individual needs. A transparency mode allows the integration of other Braille systems such as Braille music or LaTeX mathematics
  
• Back translation of Braille into printed text is possible, as is Braille input into 6-dot Braille or 8-dot Braille (computer Braille). Input works on a normal keyboard with the keys A S D F and J K L ; or with a Braille keyboard connected to the PC
  
• You can write your own texts in contracted Braille and translate them back into printed text - directly as you type or as a file from a note-taking device
  
• You can also use Microsoft Word to view Braille files as black dots on a white background, print them on plain paper, or save them as a PDF file. For example, Braille can also be converted into tactile Braille with the help of thermal copiers (swell paper) and other suitable graphic printers
